Desenvolvida para um lote singular no aeródromo de Águas Claras, a Casa Hangar nasceu a partir de diretrizes específicas, voltadas à integração entre habitação e infraestrutura aeronáutica. O projeto partiu do desafio de criar uma residência que dialogasse formal e materialmente com o conceito do hangar em estrutura pré-moldada, resultando em uma arquitetura coesa e funcional.
Entre o hangar e o volume principal da casa, estabeleceu-se um eixo de conexão, marcado pelo hall de entrada e pela circulação longitudinal que distribui os ambientes social e íntimos. Este corredor, com generosas aberturas, oferece aos moradores uma vista constante das aeronaves, tornando o hangar parte da experiência doméstica.
A organização da edificação permite a execução em etapas, com um primeiro bloco abrigando a casa, uma conexão central, e o hangar. O volume social abre-se ao pátio interno, com living e varanda integrados à área da piscina, promovendo fluidez entre interior e exterior.
A materialidade reforça o conceito: concreto aparente, metálicos e revestimentos em tons neutros e mais escuros criam uma estética que remete ao universo aeronáutico.
Developed for a unique lot at the Águas Claras airfield, the Hangar House was conceived based on specific guidelines focused on integrating housing with aeronautical infrastructure. The project arose from the challenge of creating a residence that would formally and materially dialogue with the concept of a hangar built with a pre-fabricated structure, resulting in cohesive and functional architecture.
Between the hangar and the main volume of the house, a connecting axis was established, marked by the entrance hall and a longitudinal corridor that distributes the social and private areas. This corridor, with generous openings, offers residents a constant view of the aircraft, making the hangar part of the domestic experience.
The building's layout allows for phased construction, with the first block housing the residence, a central connection, and the hangar. The social volume opens onto the internal courtyard, with the living room and veranda integrated into the pool area, promoting a seamless flow between indoors and outdoors.
The materiality reinforces the concept: exposed concrete, metal elements, and neutral to darker-toned finishes create an aesthetic that evokes the aeronautical universe.
